Based on what I'm seeing on Ebay, you can barely give a 25.4mm stem away so I would rather use it than have it languish in the parts bin. With room for six astronauts, the spacious and pressurized crew capsule is environmentally controlled for comfort and every passenger gets their own window seat.

I could upgrade the stem but that is extra expense I want to avoid (it would be a stem, a flat bar, and a dropbar) and, for the way I ride, I can't feel a difference between 25.4 vs 31.8 anyway. Other than scanning Ebay for older Salsa Woodchippers and similar options, are there any 25.4mm drop bars made other than the Gary-2 (preferably in black)? So I have a beautiful, unblemished Thomson Elite stem on the bike that matches the seatpost but 99% of the dirt drop bars available are 31.8mm.except this Gary-2 bar. The main issue is that I swapped parts from a previous bike when a 25.4mm handlebar clamp was standard. I recently built up a Surly Ogre where I would like to be able to run a set of drop bars when the mood strikes me. I wanted to know if anyone has experience with the Origin8 Gary-2 dirt drop bars and can comment?
